Catalogue Functionality
This section describes how to use the on line catalogue which is updated on a daily basis.

We tend to refer you, our customers, in the first instance to our web catalogue to narrow down the products you require before you fine tune the details with us on the phone. There are a lot of products! From experience, we have found it is best to talk to you to ensure you get what you want! We can send out samples before you order if that helps. We will also explain for example, how many cases we can get on a pallet, stock availability, delivery dates to your location, and what the products will cost you!

Products are organised in to a hierarchical drill down order: by Division, Sections and then Product Groups. This allows you to see similar products against each other, drill down or back up (using you back arrow in your browser). Alternatively key in to the search bar, the key words or product codes you are interested in to bring up the relevant products.

Products on Special Offer, Seasonal Promotion and New Products can be listed from the launch buttons at the top of the screen. The level of information you receive will dependant on your login details, as noted below.

All displayed prices are quoted Net of VAT.

New Customers with No On-Line Log in Account

You do not need to have a log in User ID to access the product catalogue. We have included an order build function to enable you to email us the products you are interested in. We will then email or phone a price back to you. Please inform us if you need a Euro rather than a GBP Sterling price.
Our staff can then guide you as to setting up a cash or credit account and arranging delivery. You will then have access to the facilities available to existing customers as shown below.

Existing Customers with an On-line Log in Account

If you are an existing customer you should already have an account on our main accounts system. Our on line web services are linked to this system. To give you your own unique access to the web, please contact us to obtain a user ID and password. The site will then provide data which is unique to you and you will be responsible for orders placed using your ID. As a result we must emphasize the importance of keeping your User ID Confidential. The currency of your main account will be replicated on your web account.

We have designed services for existing customers to show web orders placed and the traditional products you order. This includes a fast order entry template as well as the other catalogue services. You can also amend your buying pattern templates, for example to include new products. These new products (by definition not sold to you within the last 12 months) will be displayed with POR against the price i.e. price on request. Once we receive the order we will phone you back if there are queries with the order placed e.g. shortages / alternatives / prices etc.
