Tubing

People put products / profiles In to the tubing then seal the ends using automated machinery or hand sealing machines.

02

Gusseted Tubing

The box shape allows for a greater volume of product. We fold creases into the tubing as part of the manufacturing process.

03

Centre Slit Tubing

When the tube is unwound the two sides fold out. Creating a large sheet.

Centre Fold Sheeting

One side of the tube is cut off. People can slide objects into the open side and then reseal that side and the top & bottom, as required.

05

Single Wound Sheeting

Often used to cover products or line boxes. Pallet covers or base liners would be a common use. Also used on automated shrink packaging lines.

Single Wound Sheeting
06

Micro Perforated

The sheeting is perforated with fine holes to let products sweat / breathe e.g. mushrooms or other products.

Micro Perforated
07

Punched Sheeting

The sheet is punched with larger holes to allow products to dry out / sweat / breathe. This lets air escape quickly. (More so than micro-perforated).

Materials

We extrude film using various polymers including low, medium and high density polythene and metallocenes in our purpose built facility, which operates 24 hours a day.

We make various mixes and can add additives to provide various colours and properties (strength, anti-rust, anti-static etc.). In addition to polythene products we also source polypropylene and cast film to make printed film or bags. All products in our manufacturing department are made to order, and every customer will be given a unique specification number.
